Are there any changes to my The Sims™ 3 account?
No, your The Sims 3 account won’t change. You’ll still have your same account, friends, stuff, etc. By creating an EA Account, you will also have access to the Origin community network by logging in to the downloadable Origin client.> Back to top

Why are our accounts being converted to Origin?
Origin is a newer and better integrated system, designed to support digital download, mobile devices, and the full range of EA games. Having an EA Account ensures a better game experience. How do I convert my account?
Log in to TheSims3.com with your login credentials. If you do not have an EA Account tied to this email address, you will be directed to choose an account name and create one. It can be the same name as your The Sims 3 account name, provided someone has not already claimed that name. Also, while your The Sims 3 account name cannot be changed, you do have the option to change the displayed name of your EA Account.> Back to top
